Joining Planet!

I'm excited to announce I'm joining the machine learning team at Planet! I will be applying machine and deep learning to remote sensing imagery of the Earth's surface. Planet has built a constellation of nanosats in Low Earth Orbit that image the entirety of the Earth daily to monitor changes and pinpoint trends. The ultimate goal is to enable a Queryable Earth, indexing physical change on Earth and making it searchable for all. I'm excited that I'll continue to get working at the intersection of space and machine learning. My first day is Tuesday, February 18th.
