Coworking Update
Things are cooking at coworking; we have five permanent coworkers now, and lots of other interesting folks are constantly dropping by. Here are the projects coworkers are hacking on today in the coworking space:
Kragen Sitaker - Kragen is working on an interesting Firefox plugin called the Wow Bar from Commerce.net, a sidebar that pulls information in from disparate sources for the web pages you are looking at and presents them using a universal UI.
Ray Baxter - Ray is an entrepreneur working on a new kind of community-created fact web site
Jen Kollmer - Jen is a playwright and screenwriter working on her screenplay.
Curtis Yarvin - Curstis is doing interesting computer language research; drop by some time and ask him about what he is putting together. He's questioning alot of language assumptions we've all been carrying around for awhile.
Lot's of coworking supporters are always dropping by as well. This afternoon Ted Tagami and the Node101 crew, a project creating community video collectives, are dropping by; Ted has a great post comparing coworking to the 19th century Parisian salons, which were so important to creating new ideas and providing community. Chris Hobbes and the Sponge Cell guys, a startup company with a unique spin on event-planning web sites, head to the space when they are in town.
Why don't you join us? We are open on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 9 AM to 5:45 PM, and are located at 3387 22nd St., near Guerrero St. in San Francisco.
